The storyline of this movie is amazing and incredible to watch. It is about a rock star called Elton John and it showcases some of his most famous songs. But this is not your ordinary movie about singing and dancing boring auto-biography, it is actually interesting and action-packed; possibly rivalling bohemian rhapsody.
The songs in this are some of his most famous and loved creations. It also showed how he became the rock star he is today. It also has his childhood and included how sad and miserable he was(and the struggles of being a homosexual) but it showed how nice some people were to him, such as his grandma.
Some of these songs are Saturday nights alright, I’m still standing and goodbye yellow brick road. The movie also shows his previous band and his alcohol and drug misuse which shows how bad they are for a person.
My favourite parts are the performances as they are fun to watch and amazing to listen to. Also, I like the scenes which explain how much money he is getting and his record deals(£2 a week) as well as his first performance venue, however, the best scene was the one where he auditions at the school of music(no spoilers).
